Developed over several years of travel through Albania, Montenegro, and Croatia, Adriatika is a medium-format study of the Adriatic coast. The series moves through a landscape defined by its contrast to the Mediterranean of Western Europe—a region shaped by a distinct history and a sense of ongoing, often uneven, growth.

The work employs a documentary approach to capture the tension between the sun-drenched coastal aesthetic and the socio-political undercurrents of the Balkans. By focusing on place, portraiture, and the quiet details of the shoreline, the project records the evolution of a territory as it navigates its past and its shifting position in the modern world.
